Well after much patience the official music video for Columbus is finally out. It is currently being featured on several sites including Prefix Mag, CoS, and Pigeons and Planes. All of these sites have tons more to offer, so go break your brain on the latest.
There’s a little network called MTV that you can now find our video for “Lost” airing on. Yes, the entire world can now watch us take a beating.
We can’t thank the peeps at Consequence of Sound enough for all their support. Today they feature Columbus off of our album Jes officially released July 31st! Now go spend 3 hours on their site, because it has that many goodies.
Pre-sale tickets are only $5, but you have to order online. They’re $7 at the door, still a good deal. We look forward to seeing all of you & thanks for your support.
We’re absolutely honored to announce that we have been dubbed “Saviors of Sound” by Sol Republic, the dopest headphone company on the (Fast) planet. We highly recommend that you check out these cans. They not only sound amazing, but are pretty much the only thing we’ll wear 13.2 millions years from now while traveling through space to our next home.
As of tomorrow, you will only be able to purchase Jes at your favorite online retailer or at FP live performances. You will, of course, still be able to listen to Jes for free on Spotify, last.fm, Grooveshark etc.. But if you want a 100% FREE digital copy, you better head over to our Bandcamp page right now and download. All proceeds go to our extremely unhealthy obsession with gear.
We have been sitting on this one for a while. We are excited to announce our show with Future Unlimited and Strooly on Friday, June 29th at the Hi-Tone in Memphis. If you come to this show, you may end up in a music video so you have been warned. So go ahead and start rummaging thru the closet for your best digs. Lots of details about this and other live shows in the coming weeks.
We’re featured under the New and Noteworthy Electronic Album section of iTunes this week!
Quick addition to the series I’ve entitled “Things we Like”. Today we feature Lemur, an iOS customizable midi interface that has been re-released by Liine. It is the latest weapon we’ve added to our live performance war chest, and the most fun I’ve had in a while. If any of you are looking for a good reason to purchase an iPad… Lemurs your huckleberry.
Quick plugin for the Fareveller Music Festival in Memphis, TN March 22-24. In addition to great music, this is a great time. I personally use Fareveller as a seasonal marker for debuting my short shorts and fingerless gloves. Check it out and preorder your tickets today!
